At Voltaflow, we respect your privacy. This Policy explains what personal data we collect, the purposes and legal bases for processing, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights available to you.

Who we are

The data controller is Voltaflow. If you have questions or wish to exercise your rights, contact us at privacy@voltaflow.com.

Information we collect

We collect information in the following ways:

  • You provide it: contact and content you submit via forms (e.g., contact/lead): name, email, company, and message. In future forms for developers and businesses(when available), we may request professional details (role, years of experience, portfolio/CV/LinkedIn) and project details (needs, timeline/budget preferences).
  • Automatically: IP address, browser headers (user‑agent), preferred language, visited pages, interaction events, UTM parameters (stored in localStorage for attribution), and performance/web‑vitals metrics.
  • Anti‑bot verification: we use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect forms; this service processes technical data (e.g., IP and browser signals) to detect automation.
  • Cookies and similar tech: language cookie (NEXT_LOCALE), A/B testing cookie (cta_variant), UI preference cookie (sidebar:state), and analytics technologies described below. See our Cookie Policy as well.

Purposes and legal bases

  • Respond to inquiries and manage leads: we process form submissions to assist you and, where appropriate, start a commercial relationship. Legal basis: pre‑contractual steps and ourlegitimate interests in operating our business.
  • Improve the site and experience: we use analytics (see below) to understand usage and improve the product. Legal basis: your consent where required; otherwise, legitimate interestsbalanced with your expectations and controls.
  • Security and fraud prevention: anti‑bot checks (Turnstile), rate‑limit controls, and technical logs. Legal basis: legitimate interests and, where applicable, legal obligations.
  • Direct marketing: with your consent, we may send communications. You may withdraw consent at any time.

Analytics and third‑party processors

We integrate the following services, which may receive data according to their function:

Data retention

  • Leads (contact): up to 24 months from last interaction, unless you request earlier deletion or law requires otherwise.
  • Technical/abuse‑prevention records (e.g., IP for ratelimit): up to 12 months.
  • Analytics: aggregated/pseudonymized data may be retained longer for statistical purposes.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside your country. We implement appropriate safeguards (e.g., EU Standard Contractual Clauses) and carry out transfer assessments as applicable.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, object, restrict processing, port your data, and withdraw consent. To exercise, contact privacy@voltaflow.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

United States residents (e.g., CA/CO/CT/VA)

We provide rights to access, correct, and delete, and the ability to opt out of “sale/sharing” or targeted advertising where applicable. We do not sell your personal information. For requests, contact privacy@voltaflow.com.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

In line with CCPA/CPRA, we disclose: (i) categories of personal information we may collect include identifiers (e.g., name, email), Internet/activity data, approximate geolocation (derived from IP), and professional information (if you submit it in forms); (ii) sources are you (forms) and automatic collection when you use the site; (iii) purposes align with“Purposes & legal bases”; (iv) disclosures are to service providers/processors for operational purposes (see“Analytics & processors”); (v) we do not “sell” personal information nor “share” it for cross‑context behavioral advertising.

  • Notice at collection: provided via this Policy and the form UI; see also “Data retention”.
  • CPRA rights: know/access, delete, correct, portability; opt‑out of sale/sharing (not applicable currently); limit use of “sensitive personal information” (we do not collect it); no discrimination for exercising rights.
  • How to exercise: email privacy@voltaflow.com with your request. If using an authorized agent, include signed authorization; we will verify your identity.
  • GPC signals: we honor Global Privacy Control signals when detected.
  • Under 16: we do not sell/share data and the service is not directed to minors.

Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to safeguard your data. No system is entirely secure; please avoid sharing sensitive information in free‑text fields.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 16. If you believe a child provided data to us, please contact us so we can delete it.
